Capital Region Employment and Life Skills Mentors, LLC

About "mentors"

Capital Region Employment and Life Skills Mentors, LLC, or "Mentors", prides itself on providing real-life and community based services to people diagnosed with developmental and social/emotional disabilities.

Started in June 2010, Mentors was created to deliver individualized and group programming that will engage and facilitate real-life learning for sustainable and positive growth.

Owned and operated by John Leclerc, a New York and Massachusetts certified and master's level Special Education teacher, the program offers services within the Employment and Life Skills realms. I began working in the field of special education in September 2001, and have several years of experience in the realms of school-to-work programs, adult supported employment as well as residential services.  I also have knowledge and experience in developing business contacts as well as community resources throughout the Capital Region for the purposes of employment and life skill learning.

My hobbies and interests include sports, the outdoors, gardening and playing guitar.
