Current mentoring, teaching and Donating

Fall through Summer 2013-2014

!) Student Vocational and Community Outreach Program- Niskayuna (NY) High School- Coordinating 2 student work programs (1 school-based, 1 community business based). Also,  new employment program called "Get a Job" where I introduce other high school age students to work-related curriculum. We are also working with students on formal job shadows and lessons with community employers. Lessons include several topics listed under our "Services Offered" page.

2) Community Habilitation Provider- Local Human Services Agency-  facilitating in-home and community-based activities and informal lessons on basic life skills including social and work skills. This work is mostly done by providing opportunity and guidance on important life-related skills. 

3) Adjunct Professor at a Capital Region college- teaching employment topics and related skills to college-aged students. Spring 2011, Spring 2012, Spring 2013, Spring 2014

Recent Past:

Adult Asperger's Social and Support Group- Local Chapter of Autism Society- Lead Facilitator- provide social and community-based outings and activities to spur conversation, gain knowledge on related topics and to feel a sense of self-enrichment.


During the past few years, "Mentors" has donated to:  Autism Society of the Capital Region, Schenectady Inner-City Ministries, The Adirondack Council, Roots and Wisdom of Schenectady and to Pete's Green's, a 4-season organic farm located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
